BUSING FOR JESUS

What an exciting time to be worshipping and serving our Lord Jesus Christ at Fellowship Baptist Church! The buses are rolling to bring boys and girls, men and women to hear His word, share His love, learn His teachings, and sing His praises.

Many new faces are coming not only through the Bus Ministry but, also, through the church visitation and invitin and sharing the good things God is doing here at Fellowship. Let us Rejoice and Praise His Name.

Each faithful worker brings joy to our hearts as they visit the riders every Saturday morning. An opportunity awaits you, too, to serve Him and share your faith and love in Jesus with others. You will be bringing joy and hope through Christ to those who have none. Feel free to contact our pastor, Bro. Keith or any of the bus workers. We will be happy to talk with you.

– Children K-6th Grade

It is wonderful to be on God’s team, especially here at Fellowship.
God is truly working and blessing our church in all its ministries.
It is God's desire to do all things decently and in order, so, after
much prayer and many people getting out of the boat to help
we began a mid-week Vacation Bible School program February
25, 2004 at 7:00 pm
. The format is VBS so children will attend
their age group classes.

In the first mid-week VBS program "CastleKids -- Choosing to Serve the King" children learned how to obey God, chose Godly friends, make Godly
choices, act courageously and serve Him by obeying His word through
songs, prayer, Bible lessons, Bible games, and snacks.

The next two mid-week programs, "Discipleland", taught children to be disciples and "Team Kids" encouraged children to count on God and God counts on them to live the way He wants them to.

"All Stars for Jesus", a twelve-week Bible Curriculum, began March 28, 2007 for ages preschool through 6th grade and another session began August 15, 2007 with additional classes for 2-3 year olds, 7th & 8th grades, and God's Heros. The time for this session was extended thirty minutes--6:30-8:00 P.M. This allows a full meal to be served before the Bible study, songs, and activities.

The theme for 2008 is "Building Christian Character". The first quarter started February 20th. The children will learn about honoring God, obeying rules, telling the truth, and other values that help build Christian character.

Pray for God's guidance and love as we challenge children to choose
whom they will serve and whom they will trust for eternal life. Our
prayer is for all children to know God and live like God wants us to live.

The Wednesday night program has been blessed and expanded to
140+ children attending weekly. Thank you so much for all of your
prayers and support. Please continue to pray for us as we glorify God
in all of His works.

Love, Sammy & Cathy Arms

Children’s Church

Each Sunday at 11:00 A.M. children in the 1st-6th grades come to
worship in Children’s Church. Ms. Selena leads the children in songs
of praise and an object lesson and to strengthen their knowledge,
Ms. Cathy challenges them with learning Bible verses and playing
Bible games. Bro. Keith Shown, Children's Church Pastor, brings God’s
message and gives an invitation for prayer and salvation. Bro. Sammy
Arms and Bro. Philip Selvidge also share in bringing the message from
time to time.

Puppet friends sometimes visit to share a thought and special guests
are invited to share their testimony and talents.

Attendance, bringing your Bible, bringing a friend, and participation
in worship are encouraged with promotions like the treasure chest,
pizza parties, Sundae Sunday, trips to McDonald’s or Noah’s Nest, a
store filled with a variety of items.

Come worship with us,
Selena Jackson,
Children’s Worship Director
